Online schedule shows they have 18 games scheduled. Maybe they could squeeze in 2 more games if they wanted, but that’s doubtful with the remaining time left of season. Since cif allows 28 games in regular season, their whole team is missing out 8 games. So everyone is missing out on games played which means less preparation for playoffs. Makes it much tougher for team chemistry, no time for a learning curve. Which is showing now. SOP’s are not dominating, they already have 3 losses to open teams. Being that they only have 6 players including their 1 returner from last years team, Seems to be a tiresome season for them, would be very hard to be successful this season. Centennial is not the first team to schedule games after the SOP is done. Rancho Christian did this exact thing 2 years ago. This seemed more like a necessity rather than a real choice.
