You clearly haven't followed the program very long. Last year they only had 7 players on varsity and the lower levels were a mess. Ever since Coach Woods left the numbers have been extremely low. The last few years they really just became a 2 level program. The few games the FS team played the last 2 years they lost with scores of 57-0, 61-4, 40-4, 48-2.

Even now the numbers are still low, there are only 6 real varsity players on the team and the entire starting line up was sit out period. The rest are fill ins from the JV/FS teams. If that lineup played 10-15 games to start the season they would have lost every game.

There is no doubt they are at minimum a D1 team. You would have really preferred they get a free CIF section and state Ring in D4 or D5 than have to compete in D1 or the Open?
