: Looks like it may take a couple years to turn the program around. Last couple years at centennial were a mess so this new Coach will have a lot of work to do, basically building a program from the ground up. 6 players on a varsity team is not ideal for any team, but you have to work with what you got. Even the best players in the country face foul trouble, injury and bad games, so 6 players is going to be rough no matter how you look at it

It was only three years ago that JSerra barely put a team on the floor. Went 0-10 (only played league games) and lost to Mater Dei by 80 points.

Coach they hired prior to covid left and left the program stripped. Following the 0-10 year they brought in a lot of freshman, won 3A, added a few pieces and with the core of that team now juniors are 15-3 (after loss to arch-rival Santa Margarita) with wins over Sierra Canyon, Sage Hill, Fairmont Prep among others.

Had a coaching change mid-season last years and lost to San Clemente in D1 playoffs with interim coach. Brought in coaches (twin sisters) from Crean Lutheran who have a good chance of building a long-term beast of a program.

Get the coaching stabilized and they will be where they should be.
