: : : : : : : : : : Rumor is Mercy Miller will be playing HS hoops at Oakwood this year (assuming basketball resumes). Miller is the youngest son of Rapper Master P and is considered a good prospect moving forward. I believe he is a guard with great handles and overall game.
: : : : : : : : : : Oakwood will need much more than MIller to compete but its a good start. Their 3 best players graduated this year so they will need to reload.
: : : : : : : : : Is this the same Miller who transferred from Oaks to that school in Minnesota?
: : : : : : : : YES - I believe it is - i know he played in Minnesota the past year or two - etc. I watched him play on You Tube - great ball handles and skills BUT - he was competing against weaker competition so its hard to tell.
: : : : : : : Thanks. If so, Oakwood has a shot in whatever division they end up in. They have a very good incoming freshman as well.
: : : : : : I heard they will probably end up in D4. Do they have a Center? IE - a Big man?
: : : : : Ya boi, now my son gets unlimited pt, $$$$$$
: : : : what does that mean? oakwood lost all their good players to graduation. they have very little talent. They need to bring in a starting 5 line up if they plan on competing.

: : : Didnt the coach pull the typical travel ball/trainer move and leave as soon as he realized all his transfers were gone and he was going to have to coach the "regular" kids at the school
: : Miller won't be going there alone, Oakwood has an incoming freshman, and a returning sophomore who can defend and handle the rock.
: : With the new AD, expect multiple transfers
: Think again. The AD is not well liked or respected. Believe me, I know. He will NOT attract anyone. LOL - its a joke actually. The AD has traveled around and never stayed long anywhere. Wonder why?
Didn't the AD help build that small private school on the Westside into a Power program?
