: The JSerra Athletic Administration is proud to announce that Rachael Ziemann has been hired as the new Girls Basketball head coach at JSerra Catholic High School.

: Coach Ziemann comes to JSerra Catholic High School with a highly accomplished background as a student-athlete, coach, and mentor.

: She was a four-year standout basketball and track athlete at Edison High School in Huntington Beach and helped the Chargers win the Sunset League two years in a row.

: She earned a Division 1 scholarship to Loyola Marymount University, where she was a two-time team captain and helped the Lions to the WCC Conference Championship and WCC Tournament championships.

: Most recently, Coach Ziemann has served as the Girls Basketball Co-Head Coach at Crean Lutheran High School in Irvine, where she won over 100 games, guided the Saints to the Empire League title twice, and helped lead the team to three straight appearances in the CIF-SS quarterfinals or better.

: She is also the Co-Founder and President of the Flames Basketball Club, which has earned a highly respected reputation as one of the top basketball club organizations in Orange County.

: “I am honored and blessed to be named the head coach of the JSerra Catholic High School Girls Basketball Program,” Ziemann said. “This opportunity means so much to me, and I am deeply committed to building a Christ-like culture of excellence, hard work, and integrity both on and off the court.”

: JSerra Athletic Director Chris Ledyard highlighted Ziemann’s coaching acumen and commitment to student-athlete development as a strong foundation to help build the JSerra Girls Basketball program into the future.

: “Coach Ziemann’s fit on the basketball court as a coach and mentor is matched by her stated vision and background of developing resilient and confident young women in a Christ-centered environment based on the foundation of growth-mindset, teamwork, and sportsmanship.” Ledyard said.

Great hire and she will immediately be the best person in the athletic department at "JSteal your players". Im sure she will recruit just like the boys do but at least shes legit.

remember- recruiting players in high school (whether public or private) is CHEATING and against the rules.
