: : : : : I think we might see sports played with limited numbers of people in the gym. Then again, with OC starting to up their protests against the draconian shutdown, I think you might see things relax quite a bit by fall. It will be interesting to see where this all lands.

: : : : Draconian shutdown?

: : : Why are you so afraid of my opinion?

: : Not afraid of you or your opinion. Interesting choice of words, and tone, though. Draconian is a little harsh, IMO, for safety practices that are being done not only in the US, but all over the world. Secondly, you speak as one in authority and question anyone who dares to disagree with you, then have the balls to say I am afraid of your opinion. Perhaps if it was written as opinion, and not like someone who thinks they know more than a doctor or a health expert, I'd be okay with it.

: Well, let's see...I said "I think" twice in my post. Does that not imply that it is my opinion? Even if I didn't say "I think" then you would still be able to tell that it is my opinion just because it is clearly an opinion and I was the one who expressed it. Let me know if that logic escapes you, and I'll try to explain it again with stick figures and diagrams.

: You and Walt are the ones who try to pass yourselves off as health experts then attack anyone who dares oppose you. Fortunately, even the President is finally calling for the country to re-open, and many other states have already resumed basketball practice, so all the dire predictions are going to be just a bad memory soon.

: Some of those statements are facts, and some are opinions. If you're not sure which is which then maybe you can find a third grader to help you sort them out.

: Let me point out that you are the one who said we should all just stick with talking about basketball. Feel free to follow your own advice. No one is stopping you. And once again, just like my mother in law, I'm sure you will need to have the last word.

Don't need the last word. Again, it's the tone. And again, I never came on as an authority. I merely said it is not our call, and we should stick to talking about basketball. I made a general comment, to no one in particular (indirectly at you I suppose) that we had A LOT of "experts" on this site. YOU are the one who responded to ME, I seem to recall. "Even the President", are you kidding me with that? He is the ONLY one calling for it to re-open, regardless of the fact that, as of today, we have lost 93K lives. The WH was saying we need to have 14 days of declining numbers. Exactly ZERO states have met the requirement, and now the Idiot in Chief, fearing a loss in November, is pushing Governors to re-open, and threatening those who don't. I can't stand him. And yes, of course you are entitled to your opinion, as I am mine. They disagree, but I never think I'm an expert on this topic. I miss basketball very much, and can't wait to get back. Unfortunately if we go by the numbers, your estimates might be a bit off.
