Just want to say good luck to Troy and Harvard-Westlake as well as Orangewood Academy and Fairmont Prep. You all have earned your chance to play for a CIF Championship. These programs have been at the top or near the top for the past 6 years or longer and deserve the respect for playing the best around. Whichever schools wins today they are truly champions and can hang their banner and wear their championships rings with pride.
As for everyone else in Division 2A and below, you all don't deserve any luck, CIF has given you all your championships. Nothing has been earned and little to no work has been done by anybody at these schools. If they played the best teams in Southern California they all would be massacred and destroyed just like most of them were in their leagues. So enjoy your CIF Participation Championship and good luck in state where everyone will truly see the kind of horrible team you really are. But hey, if you win a State Championship then I would give you respect because that would mean you finally, possibly played someone good for a change instead of ducking or not wanting to play the best teams around.
I can't wait until next season when these teams get moved up into the higher divisions and can't make it out of the first round. Then we will hear the parents crying about how unfair it is. All I have to say, you got your championship or your runner-up banner its now time for the next horrible team to get their CIF Participation Championship.
Competitive equality what a joke!!! People are making the playoffs and having playoff success for the first time in decades or the first time ever and still people complain about how the system is flawed. You all need to just be quiet and enjoy the fact that your teams are playing for a potential championship or had a playoff run that will never happen again for long time.
