: : : : : I think their maybe 33 or 34 auto qualifiers in 3AA and no room for at-large bids, anyone else look at this and see if there are some need of corrections? Maybe looking at a couple of play in games among some 3rd place teams.

: : : : : 1st place teams
: : : : : 1) Santa Monica (Ocean)
: : : : : 2) San Juan Hills (Sea View)
: : : : : 3) Villa Park (North Hills)
: : : : : 4) Murrieta Mesa (Southwestern)
: : : : : 5) Covina (Valle Vista)
: : : : : 6) La Serna (Del Rio)
: : : : : 7) Cerritos (605)
: : : : : 8) Don Lugo (Mt. Baldy)
: : : : : 9) Patriot (River Valley)
: : : : : 10) Hueneme (Citrus Coast)
: : : : : 11) Lancaster (Golden)
: : : : : 12) Victor Valley (Desert Sky)
: : : : : 13) Ribet (Harbor)

: : : : : 2nd place teams
: : : : : 14) Mira Costa (Bay)
: : : : : 15) Crean Lutheran (Empire)
: : : : : 16) Twentynine Palms (Desert Valley)
: : : : : 17) Laguna Hills (Sea View)
: : : : : 18) Corona del Mar (Surf)
: : : : : 19) Oak Park (Coastal Canyon)
: : : : : 20) Woodbridge (Pacific Coast)
: : : : : 21) Cabrillo (Channel)

: : : : : 3rd place teams
: : : : : 22) South Torrance (Pioneer)
: : : : : 23) Glendale (Pacific)
: : : : : 24) El Segundo (Ocean)
: : : : : 25) Santa Fe (Del Rio)
: : : : : 26) Thousand Oaks (Marmonte)
: : : : : 27) Sage Hill (San Joaquin)
: : : : : 28) Chaparral (Southwester)
: : : : : 29) Cypress (Empire)
: : : : : 30) Ayala (Palomares)
: : : : : 31) Knight (Golden)
: : : : : 32) Lompoc (Channel)
: : : : : 33) Burroughs/ R (Mojave River)
: : : : : 34) San Jacinto (Mountain Pass)

: : : : : .500 or better and probably left out

: : : : : Pacifica/ Oxnard
: : : : : Edison
: : : : : Norco
: : : : : Westminster

: : : : 3AA Coaches poll
: : : : 1. Santa Monica
: : : : 2. Mira Costa
: : : : 3. Crean Lutheran
: : : : 4. South Torrance
: : : : 5. Glendale
: : : : 6. San Juan Hills
: : : : 7. El Segundo
: : : : 8. 29 Palms
: : : : 9. SANTA FE
: : : : 10. Villa Park
: : : : 11. Murrieta Mesa
: : : : 12. Laguna Hills
: : : : 13. Thousand Oaks
: : : : 14. Corona del Mar
: : : : 15. Covina
: : : : 16. Sage Hill

: : : : How do the coaches in this division vote a team in 3rd place in their league (Santa Fe #9 in the coaches poll) and do not even vote for La Serna (#1 in the same league and has beat Santa Fe twice). Questions if anyone voting in that poll does any of their homework.

: : : : Will CIFSS step in and make sure that La Serna is either ranked ahead of Santa Fe or drop Santa Fe from the rankings. Can't imagine them leaving them ranked when their league champion is not.

: : : : Glendale did not finish third. THey finished fifth in their league. They may be out.

: : La Serna coach doesn't post scores so there was no way for voters to know that they beat Santa Fe until recently.

: Hey I get it, you probably shouldn’t reward a coach who won’t put their scores in, but shouldn’t that same thinking apply to the Santa Fe coach also whose team gets voted highly because they don’t put their scores in and no one knows they lose to a team in their league who is also in their division. Maybe neither of them deserve to be ranked.

You also have to take into account that not every coach votes. Some areas tend to stick together when it comes to ranking. How many times to you think any of the coaches saw 29 Palms, Burroughs, Knight? Then how many of those teams saw Crean Lutheran or San Juan Hills? Santa Monica seems to be the team to beat. But you have to play the games. This division has quite a few teams that could win it.
