: : : : : What happened at the Sierra vs Chaminade game? Chaminade posts a big loss with Sierra missing a D1 guard. It is different when its not summer?
: : : : SC is tough to beat when they play team ball. They can score from any position, Sunday they took advantage of size mismatch specially in post.
: : :
: : : Sierra play loose during summer/fall while others play their usual games as if they're playing for CIF title. And there's nothing wrong with that. Just don't expect to get the same results when it counts.
: : : Same self proclaimed basketball expert fool that went jawing when Sierra lost huge against LJCD during summer then went silent when they almost lost but won by 1 in the last second shot at Nike TOC.
: : : You can't use summer/fall games to gauge teams like Sierra. They don't care bout games that don't count.
: : ...smart Coaches let their players kind of do their thing for the most part during summer ball as Coach is evaluating what players can and can't do. Form their plays/strategies based on those strengths and weaknesses they see from their team. Other Coaches don't believe in "freedom" so like the other poster said, they are Coaching like it's the championship game, nothing wrong with that either as players remain focused as Coach has already decided what players will do what. Bad Coaches don't have a strategy and can't adapt to the players they are given.
: Just because you know all the plays and been there for years don't make anyone expert. Kelso in no Dimuro that's for sure. She needs couple of years to settle in her new role.
great battle last night HW63-C62, back and forth to the wire. maybe this loss will mean C doesn't make it to the Open and they surely will be a Top 4 seed in D1 bracket. Winning time has to be this year though, have senior dominant players on the roster, next year they look worse than Alemany.
