: : : : : : Any thoughts on who is coming out on top of Division 3-AA?
: : : : : I would have said Crean Lutheran was the team to beat but they recently lost a close one to Santa Fe. I'd keep an eye on those two teams in 3AA.
: : : : Santa Monica is a lock to win it. They have 2 signed D1 players and a stud frosh Pg. No team in that division has close to the talent they do. Santa Fe and Crean dont even get to the quarters
: : : Isn't it funny to hear these emotionally charged, mentally deficient parents? I've seen both Santa Monica and Santa Fe play this season. I'd wager that if they went head-to-head next week the line would be Santa Fe -6. That line will change with the experience and coaching tutelage they will gain by February. Not to mention possible injuries. No frickin' way Santa Monica is a lock to win the championship plaque of the 5th division of CIF-SS. (Open, 1, 2AA, 2A, and then 3AA)
: : Santa Fe has beaten total garbage. Lets see how they did vs Millikan yesterday. That goes a long way. My guess is a double digit loss.
: Santa Fe lost to Millikan in Ot. Santa Monica thumped a tanked D2A team by 18 on road. Samo the clear favorite
You guys are both wrong. This division actually has some very solid teams in it. The one thing I agree with you on is the Crean and Santa Fe will not win the division. I don't see either of them getting past the second round depending on their draw. Here are some teams to keep an eye on in this division. Murietta Mesa will be a tough out for anyone. Glendale has played a tough schedule against some quality D1 teams. Covina is unranked right now, but they will start climbing in the polls in the next 3 weeks. 29 Palms will be in the mix also. There are other sleepers. This division could be fun to watch.
