: : : : : : Friday, November 29th

: : : : : : 12:00pm - Redondo vs. Bishop Montgomery
: : : : : : 1:00pm - Troy vs Warren (Small gym)
: : : : : : 1:30pm - West vs Harvard- Westlake
: : : : : : 3:00pm - Orangewood vs Centennial
: : : : : : 4:30pm - Windward be Serra
: : : : : : 6:00pm - Etiwanda vs Lynwood (Semi)
: : : : : : 7:30pm - Mater Dei vs Chaminade (Semi)

What were the results, and scores to these games? Please post Redondo
: : : : : So, the team that scored the most points and had the largest margins of victory is playing for 5th place? Way to put your pools together AND come up with a tiebreak that makes sense, Redondo! *rolls-eyes*

: : : : I would be annoyed too, but using points allowed is a "kinder" tie-breaker than margin of victory which encourages running up scores against weak teams. It stressed defense over offense.

: : : If it wasn’t the “Platinum Division” in one of the tougher pre-season tournaments in California, I would agree. But, there aren’t supposed to be “weak teams.” In the end, it favored the team that was more evenly matched with their opponents and, therefore, had closer low scoring games.

: :
: : So Windward who dominated their opponent is not in the semi while Chaminade that got lucky and won by 1 over Serra is in??? That don't look right 😂

: :: Silly scoring system ... it defeats the purpose of tournaments like these. The teams that are playing best should play one another at some point.
