: : : : November is here, that means basketball is around the corner. Who do you guys like in the city section this year?
: : : Top 12
: : : Hamilton
: : : Palisades
: : : Westchester
: : : El Camino
: : : Legacy
: : : Narbonne
: : : Crenshaw
: : : Carson
: : : Birmingham
: : : Eagle rock
: : : Garfield

: : :: Here is my pre-season prediction for the City Open selections:
: : ::1. Palisades - returns solid ball handling, post play, and shooting
: : :: 2. Granada Hills - lost a lot of scoring punch, but post player will anchor team w/solid coaching
: : :: 3. Narbonne - lost talented guard play, but will reorganize around post player and play fast
: : :: 4. Hamilton - returns all 5 starters from squad that won 2 City Open games last year
: : :: 5. Westchester - loses anchor post player, but a few newcomers may soften the blow.
: : :: 6. Legacy - solid team, with an aggressive scorer
: : ::7. Birmingham - returns several players from City Open team last season
: : ::8. ECR - must replace dominant scorer

: City section could have the worst collection of talent in the last 10 years, very sad. I know we say this every year but this year the talent is really bad. I see one or two girls at most going on to play in college. How do we stop private schools from taking all of our talented kids. Such a shame

You canít look at the facilities. You canít compare when it comes opportunities for your child at the next level.
