: : : : Very unfortunate. I hope things will get better for her. She's a great player.

: : : Too bad she's not a great student. Not unfortunate at all. You reap what you sow.

: : Here is a young girl who had great talent and was exploited for it. Her own family never saw her down and told her she had to do her homework. They sent her to the gym. The coaches, high school and club, only cared about winning. They were of no guidance to her at all.

: : When people talk about caring about the community, she's a prime example of no one caring about her. They cared about what she could do for them without considering what it would do to her.

: : The former principal of Crenshaw High once said "what is the good of an athletic scholarship if the student does not have the grades to accept it?" Would that the people around Ayanna Clark understood that.

: : Nothing more sad than a wasted talent, hope she recovers.

Well what we really learned is the coaches and the program she played for doesn't care about academics because they clearly knew she was failing in school and they still put her as the face of they program. Can't push grades if your not willing to enforce. She is a remarkable player and will be back on somebody's court.
