: It's a nice recruiting class but let's not give them the trophy quite yet. There are a lot of questions surrounding this group. Four of the kids need the ball in their hands to be effective, but last I checked there's only one ball they get to play with. Did they learn anything in kindergarten? In other words, can they share and play well with others? We'll see.
Say what you want about 'recruiting" and such, but Kiernan and Bonney can and will coach these kids. They will learn to work together--or have to run a lot!
And at the lower levels, the most effective players have to have to ball in their hands because people who are good without the ball won't have the talent around them to take advantage of it.
I am old school, and I do feel bad about kids who are trying to work their way up a ladder through the lower levels to get to varsity.
