: : Exactly my point. Our coach is developing girls we have currently. The previous coach failed in many areas. Last year team was very capable of making play offs, but equaled with mismanagement of talent and injuries our girls fell short. The right man is on the job now. Keep an eye out. Take your camera out and take of picture of this post, because you will be calling me a prophet!
@ Brian Get facts not rumors. The last coach was not ran off by parents. The players themselves had a meeting and expressed serious concerns about previous coach. So are you suggesting that concerned parents shouldn't listen to their children complain? The team held it's own meeting without adult interference. If you saw the games you can see the obvious mismanagement of talent. If previous coach was as good as you say. Did he get an immediate Job?? I'll wait for response...

: : : : : : So how long will this resurgence take? 4 years? Longer? Less? Will Coach Scott stick around long enough? Will the administration at St. Bernard allow this to happen because the administration recently destroyed the sports programs. Now St. Bernard is way down in the CIF divisions so they could compete for a championship but those titles don't count because it is against inferior competition and not against the elite teams. So if St. Bernard does make a comeback the program will never achieve the success it once had.
: : : : : Is this the same Coach Scott who used to coach at Inglewood High School?

: : : Lack of recruiting? If you can't win without recruiting, then how good a coach are you?
: : : Develop and win with what you have, then better players will come.
: St. Bernard is a graveyard for girls basketball. The last coach got ran out of there by the parents and he was a decent young coach that didn't get a chance to really grow the program. The Principal there isn't a sports guy and the athletics program shows that he isn't. The boys program is good because they have a good coach there that really should be at a powerhouse school. Good luck to Tony, heard he was supposed to get the job a couple years ago and finally got it.
