: : MD Hater, miss me with that trash.
: : The FAB 5 girls transferring in are not coming to sit on nobodies bench. Face it the FAB 5 is coming to take the starting players positions. Some of the returning starters may get a few minutes here and there.
: : Truthfully MD was do for a make over. Every school must re-stock there teams to stay competitive.
: : FACT:
: : Stevie Wonder can see you guys weren't going to make ANY PLAYOFF noise with the returning players.
: : Again, this team is a bust if they don't win a CIF and a State title.
: : I'm sure the FAB 5 is up to the challenge.
: Play the Fab 5 together. this needs to happen. A PG a SG, and the bigs - play them as one squad and let them do their thing. MD needs to run with this and take advantage of the cosmic event which brought these kids togheter. I don't think any of them knew each other before. Or if they did??? barely.
Are you serious? Pepe and Crocker played on the same SCS team in 2016. Amosa and Frescas have played together for the last couple of years. Demetre is a holdback but knows the other players well from camps and playing in competitive games. They all know each other, most of them quite well.
It's a nice recruiting class but let's not give them the trophy quite yet. There are a lot of questions surrounding this group. Four of the kids need the ball in their hands to be effective, but last I checked there's only one ball they get to play with. Did they learn anything in kindergarten? In other words, can they share and play well with others? We'll see.
Also it is a fact that parents of MD kids who aren't in the so-called Fab 5 are not exactly happy that their daughter is getting passed by Freshmen and a transfer. Some of the uncommitted seniors are also not excited. Let's see how that plays out this season. Coach K will have his hands full trying to keep everyone happy.
