: : : How tall is Amosa? A female baby Shaq, once

: : Isn't Khylee Pepe part of that Fab 5 too?

: : The returning girls are losing some playing time to all these girls.

: : Have to see if they can put it all together.

: I feel really bad for all the kids who waited their turn... BUT it just goes to show you how quickly the basketball world can change over night. Interested to see where Madison Johnson and Emma Torbert fit into this "super team." If Emma doesn't get in shape, i'm sure you'll find her on the bench. Also, can Johnson stay healthy enough for the entire year? Could this be a potential repeat of the 2010-2012 squads? Only time will tell!

Mater Dei is always loaded with those players that were convinced to go there for their chance to showcase themselves and have a chance to play college basketball, despite the fact they were borderline at best Mater Dei caliber players from the beginning. If you are not on Varsity as a freshman, you have virtually no chance to ever be a significant player on varsity, ever. If you're on varsity but can't get off the bench, things don't look very good for you. Mater Dei will always recruit top freshman and land several top transfers every year. The ability to move up the ranks is almost non-existent.
