: : : Can someone with knowledge please advise me of the top 5 high school girls coaches/programs in the greater LA area? I have been a follower of the boys programs out of my own interest, but now that my young daughter is showing interest in the game, I'd like to start keeping my eye on the girl's side as well. Thank you!

: : : Boy, looks like someone is trying to get the trash talking going on here now asking this kind of question. I'm sure you know the list of top 5 will grow to about 100 in a bit.

: No, my question was sincere. I'm somewhat new to following the boys programs, but have spotted some solid coaches: Harvey Kitani, Doug Mitchell, Ed Azzam, Gary McKnight. I'm sincerely curious to know who the top coaches are on the girl's side. Just a few programs I can start keeping an eye on as I learn about how things operate in the girl's world. Thank you.

How good is your daughter? What are you looking for? Are you looking for an established program like Mater Dei or Sierra Canyon or Harvard Westlake? Those schools are always chock full of the top kids and play in open division consistently. They tend to be a revolving door with kids though and lots of politics. Or maybe you are looking for an up and coming program like Los Osos (big public) or Rosary or aVillage Christian (smaller private) with a young coach, consistently winning at the lower divisions where a solid player can get playing time immediately. Do you need scholarship money? How far are you willing to commute? All of these play a factor.
