: She was just named All City female athlete of the year but the article says she's reconsidering USC. A few days before, USC had an article saying she's the most important Trojan recruit in any sport.

: I know Trakh was trying very hard to get her qualified but has she decided to go the Mt. Sac route. Trakh is one of the best coaches in America for players who have had academic problems and has put many, many players on the right road. If he were at USC during the time when Clark had verballed, maybe he could have made a difference. If she's really that far behind, I think she should skip JC and just go to Europe and play with a small league. It's ridiculous for her to go through the motions at this point because she's proven she nor the people around her care about things like math and English.

They way I've heard it is that she screwed up her first couple of years of high school, but has made a good effort her junior and senior years and has improved--just not enough to become NCAA eligible.

In the long run, getting an education is a much more important focus than on becoming a professional basketball player.
