: : : : : Amat's location does not play out well for them.
: : : : : The demograghics for Amat have changed drastically
: : : : : over the past 10-15 years. It's not like, say MD, though in south Santa Ana, it's still only a 5-15 minute drive to the coastal/beach areas from MD.

: : : : : The school powers at be want it to be like the
: : : : : old times of the past. The situation of the school currently does not allow it.

: : : : : Amat does not get those type of athletes/parents like say MD
: : : : : anymore - It is what it is.
: : : : I'm calling tomorrow!

: : : Someone above said there was no talent in the area. Well I totally agree. If Amat had not run Waird off. Here is the potential team they could have had. Eaton (Rowland), Watson (Brea), the big kid from Duarte, the shooter from Rowland, and Cooper (DRanch). Plus more players would be coming and Amat did reach the Qtrs. This team walks through 3AA.
: : Coach ran himself off.

: Interesting that you say that. Please give us some details. No BS just what you (or anyone) really knows about the situation:

: In a nutshell there was a disagreement between coaches, players took sides against the head coach. Their was a revolt, and the coach is gone
