: : : : : : CIF lets a School like Los Osos get a Major HS Transfer Player making their turning their mediocre team into one that does compete with Open Teams and let's them play Division 3 in the Playoffs and Division 4 in the State against much lower competition. Is this what CIF meant to do?
: : : : : A child can't play with their mother?
: : : : That wasn't the point! Teams that get a quality transfer shouldn't be allowed to play in a lower division.
: : : Her quality daughter played D5 last year. She did move up...2 divisions!! whats your point?
: : Buckner is a D1 player participating in D5 and D3 CIF playoffs against Teams that have none of these kinds of players. Her mother shops around for a school with an easy division so she can win a CIF and State Championship. Sad. Terrible. Everyone knows this especially those in Rancho Cucamonga.
: Interesting theory, especially considering that divisions were not made public until October, about a month and a half after school started.
Those same trio of freshman at Rolling Hills Prep are very skilled basketball players, but chose to go to a smaller program with an easy road to a state championship. A division 6 CIF championship and a possible division 5 state championship. They've beat almost all of their opponents by 30 plus points. How does this help these players get better? It doesn't. Go play against real completion and we will see if they still are winning.
