: : : : Johnson seems to out with injury a lot, not
: : : : aware of the problem.

: : : : She's a non factor. Don't count Valencia out cuz they know how to press. And we all know MD don't have real PG. I smell an upset.

: : God this is going to confuse people...I am not talking to myself. Do you really think Valencia is going to upset Mater Dei? Just for everyone's information, Tolbert and Johnson will be playing tonight. Mater Dei has too many weapons for Valencia to stop. Also, Mater Dei's pressure will affect Valencia, especially since Valencia is weak in the point guard spot. Mater Dei will throw multiple presses at Valencia and trap Valencia's point guard. The only way to break Mater Dei's press is to get the ball up the court quickly before Mater Dei can get set and the only player for Valencia that I have seen move the ball effectively is Konrad. So Valencia will have to run and gun with no bench or depth while Mater Dei will have fresh bodies to keep throwing pressure at the Valencia guards. Mater Dei also is better at running a half court game so expect Mater Dei to use ball movement to get Valencia out of their zone defense. Mater Dei is tough to beat on their home court in front of their fans.

: I don't often agree with or even like most of the comments made from POS, but this last paragraph is spot on for the game tonight. Good breakdown of what will happen and what would need to happen for Valencia to pull off an upset, and IF Valencia beats Mater Dei it will be an UPSET.

Don't know who will win but Torbert has a broken leg and is definitely out for the year and so is Johnson. They will not be playing
