: : : Can anyone explain this. How can a kid transfer Friday and enroll Monday and be eligible Thursday after playing 23 games for another school. I know it's a male athlete. I just wanted to know your honest opinion. I have seen girls transfer and have to sit out the year or half the season.

: : If your family legally moves, you are eligible. Once your parents can prove the legal move.

: And you must be cleared with CIF with the correct paperwork signed by both schools Athletic Director's, Principals, and Coaches.

Wow. Is it possible? Yes, but as noted above a lot of paperwork had to be signed but multiple people at both schools and then CIF approving it. Maybe the kid and family are well respected and crossed their t's and dotted the i's for it to go so smoothly BUT I know in most transfers it takes time for schools to sign off on the basic paperwork (and fax or email it over) which would deter a move during the season. The parents must have walked the paperwork to each person themselves to get that type of quick response.
