: : : : :Hello All, info please. What scenarios (other than change of residence) will result a "no sit out" and sit out till January. Thanks, appreciate it.

: : :
: : : : This is for next season transfer.

: : If you don't move, you have to sit out until January except for a couple very well defined exceptions in the CIF handbook.

: : If I remember correctly, they include (documented) bullying, family issues (divorce, etc.) and other such things.

: : It is very hard to get them to accept one of the exceptions.

: : Best bet is to move if you don't want to sit out until January.

:
: :If you're going through a financial difficulty and in an independent school where you only get partial aid. Then transferring to a Catholic prep that cost less (plus aids you might qualify for) should results a no sit out periods.

That won't qualify.

I say that because I know people that have left private schools for financial reasons and have gone to their home public school and were denied hardship.
