Mostly agree with this. Again, I usually only focus on top 8, and Westchester has precarious hold on 8 right now.

Carson will be in the mix for the last Open slot. They have some players and coach is improving. Not sure why they aren't winning more.

Birmingham was supposed to the the "surprise team" this year, but they have yet to beat a good team.

At the top, Pali is still the team to beat, even if the difference between them and No. 2 is less this year.

El Camino has looked great sometimes this year, even in losses to people like Windward. But then looked horrible against Camarillo. Big game this week against Granada Hills.

Fairfax has only like 7 or 8 players, but new transfer from Price has really helped. Played a tough schedule with more good games to come. Want to see game vs. Pali on 1/20.

Granada Hills is steady as always and is tough to beat as they don't make a lot of mistakes. Let's see what they do on road at El Camino this week.

My top four right now are Pali, El Camino, Fairfax, and Granada Hills in that order, but I can see 2-4 moving around between now and end of season depending on results between each other.

Should be a fun couple of months!
