: : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Anyone at the game that can confirm MaxPrep is correct? They have VHS ahead by 8 in the first half. Then only scored 2pts in 3rd and 4pts in 4th quarter? Is this correct? If so WTF is going on with Valencia, this supposed to be their year. Is it that freekin coach issue again?

: : : : : : : : : : : : : : Yea the coach only made one basket in the 3rd and two in the 4th shooting from the bench. If only they had a coach who could score more than 6 in a half all of their problems would be solved and they'd go undefeated.

: : : : : : : : : : : : : : YES it is the coaches as always. Their both garbage! Those girls are being wore out on the court to the point that it's sad. They can't coach. If they would learn how to utilize all of their players it would give others time to rest to get fueled up and go. They look very, very tired. Even their star player Konrad is taking out to use her inhaler and goes right back in. Are you kidding. Give the girl a break. Now that's sad. I thought this was going to be their year too. Valencia needs to revamp their coaching staff.

: : : : : : : : : : : : Actually, if the Coach spaces their timeouts and the players are in shape, they should be able to go hard for 32 minutes. In college those in shape go 40 minutes. Sounds like a bench warmers parent doesn't like their kid sitting on the bench watching. My advice is for your kid to develop the necessary skills to play or move to a school with worse players.

: : : : : : : : : : : :Can someone that was actually at the game tell us what you saw in the 2nd half. Were the girls getting the looks and just unable to connect due to fatigue? Were they getting pressed hard and unable to bring the ball up? Or were the plays just so predictable and the coach didn't make any adjustments? A little of all or mostly one thing...

: : : : : : : : : : :: The plays were predictable. Valencia's coaches were out coached. He should have tried to make adjustments. I say a little of all. The team did look tired after while. It happens. You have good games and not so good regards of shape.

: : : : : : : : : :::@parent- I'm a Mission parent and I had to comment after reading your response. Both teams were good. You shouldn't take comments so personal. This is just a public forum not a place to put kids down. Valencia was out played and it could be because of the coaches and maybe not. Not sure if the coaches and parents at Valencia honor a supportive code in there athletic atmosphere but to call your kids own teammates bench warmer and advise them to get better skills or move to a worse team and point the finger at a players parent is very inappropriate. That really shows the type of "supportive parent" you are. Mission parents always support our kids regardless of their capabilities or not. We don't judge. Trying learning from that. Good Luck in the coming games!
: : : : : : : : :@Valencia parent I was the at the game as well. In my opinion Valencia was fatigue from the previous game vs. Serra that was a highly competitive physical game with poor officiating where double fouls were called twice, Valencia coach receive a technical foul, missed calls consistently by the officials. Due to Valencia having eight players and Serra being deep and the coach used his depth and wore Valencia down. The Valencia Coach did the best he could played everyone except for one player.

: : : : : : : Who's out there really looking to stir up things for Valencia? Why are they the topic on conversation here? All they did was go play in a tournament and won a few and lost a few. Nothing that other teams don't do. Why aren't people speaking about other teams that are good or are supposed to be good? Valencia will be okay after all is said and done.

: : : : : :Why are people talking about Valencia? Because it's supposed to be the year these 4 starting seniors finally get passed league title. These girls deserve it and have worked so freekin hard for this for years. Unfortunately they have to deal with this f***ed up unqualified coach tha?t the parents, players, whole freekin town been asking, pleading to step down. If you have all these talents and ahead by 8 in the first half then only scored a total of 6 in the second half then there's definitely something is freekin wrong with the coach, WTF!!!!

: : : : u b the dum 1 as u had 4 years to move and stayed.

: : : : I don't see how people can blame the coach when the team under achieves. The truth about this team is that they don't have much depth. So it's easy for them to play a squad that's less talented because they can get a big lead on them and then have some of the bench players come in and give the starters a rest. But when this team plays good teams that have more depth, that's when hey run into problems. It's not always the coach's fault. I understand many of you out there want to place blame on the coach, but that's not the real problem.

: : If the coach has been a problem for years then don't go to Valencia. You can transfer at will in Santa Clarita. It happens all the time .

: Valencia is very well coached. After looking at their schedule they've only lost to top teams in the state in very competitive games. Whoever is complaining sounds like a typical nightmare parent. The girls are gong to have a great rest of the season

Always someone else's fault that little Suzy didn't win the game.
