: : : : : : : Been a fan for awhile and posted about her potential last season. Well haters, she is killing it! Go Uconn!

: : : : : : She's a good player, not a great player. We get it, she can score, but what else can she do? She can't rebound. She can't defend? She might pass occasionally.
: : : : : Well she can play for perhaps the greatest coach there is and he speaks volumes about her. More awards to come.

: : : : Right now, fellow soph Kristine Anigwe is far better and much further along. Also more poised with very little support staff.
: : : You haven't been watching Uconn games have you?

: : You haven't been watching Cal much, have you? A 50 point game in 24 minutes and 32 pts, 15 rebounds against Oklahoma. Hey, you're the one who pointed out that Geno's Lou's coach. Anigwe has a far inferior coach and far inferior teammates.
: What has the level of competition been like for each team. You are correct, I have not watched a Cal game.

Anigwe's success should not take away from praise of Katie Lou. This is not a zero sum game. Both are great. Cal needs more from Anigwe. She doesn't have the support that Katie Lou has, which may make it more difficult, but it also affords opportunities too. Samuelson has plenty of talent on her team and does not need to score 30 points. Does that mean she can't? I doubt it. They are both great. They both represent the west coast. They should be celebrated, not used as a pissing contest between anonymous posters who hate the Samuelson gamily or Mater Dei or whomever.

Gottlieb and Cal's staff is not terrible either. Not as good as Geno and company, but she has been to a FF and is a credible coach.
