: The problem is, Rosary and OLU played in the
: little girls playoff/state division(s), not in the big girls division (open), when they do,they get beat up very badly - does one REALLY think if MD had played in the little girls division(s) this year that they would not have it?

If Mater Dei was in Division 1 for state this year they would have choked like they did back in 2016 in the Division 2 state championship game. Division 2!! Not Division 1 but Division 2. Up by 17 after 3 quarters and Kiernan, Vargas and the team choked. Lost to Vanden. Speaking of playing in the little girls divisions most of Mater Dei's CIF-SS championships were down in Division 2 and Division 3 playing the little girl teams down there. But once Mater Dei got pulled up to Division 1AA in 2011 then did win a championship in 2011 and 2012 but those years Division 4AA was the best and most competitive division. Don't believe me?? Look it up. Just face it Mater Dei hasn't won a championship since 2012!! What is even sadder is that most of the other sports at Mater Dei are winning championships. So what are the excuses for Mater Dei girls basketball not hanging banners??
