: What do you coaches think about this idea? If you schedule a bunch of patsies and join tournaments with a bunch of lower level teams. But then you play a legit team like Windward/Mater Dei/Harvard Westlake etc and get blown out. Would that help your strength of schedule in order to get a better playoff seeding?
What's the use of being seeded #1 if you don't get home court throughout the playoffs. Why would a top seeded team have to travel 100 miles for a playoff game? Makes no sense at all. Yeah you might get a patsy in the 1st round at home but then you have to go on the road to potentially play a # 8 seed which is probably a decent team.
