: : : : : Big game tomorrow. Winner goes to the open Finals next Saturday. This is a match up of the best back court in southern section. Does the winner get the crown or is the individual match up outcome the deciding factor. What's the answer? Who's the BEST?

: : : :
: : : : On paper, Sierra should come out with the W. They have length, they can go with three 6footers along with their solid backcourt of Dejesus and Chevalier.

: : : : But after that game on Wednesday where they barely got by Redondo with 1point, it makes this match up even more interesting. Anyone at that game that can share what happened? They beat RU by 20+ just couple weeks ago, what gives with the 1 point margin? Were they at full squad? Did a starter not play?

: : : I thought the same thing. Assumed one of their key players from SC had to be out. Looking at stats, all of their starters played, but seems that Redondo wore them down. Redondo stepped it up a notch and almost came away with what would have been the upset of the season. Bishop Montgomery is rolling and playing well. It will be a good game for sure.

: : The trio at BM of Pepe, Padilla and Williams is a dynamic one and will be an epic match up against Chevalier, De Jesus and Mark. Each of the players has similar playing styles. Neither team has a bench or is very deep. Will be some solid basketball on display.

: Div 1? She got a very nice write up in the LA Times today.

SC is solid so long as they stay to the system that has taken them this far with unbeaten record, that is team basketball.
Both Kaylas need to show up since Pepe will be surrounded by 3 6-footers. She gets in early foul trouble and it's game over. That's what so tough about playing Sierra is they will figure out your weak point and beat you there. Well coach team and don't make alot of mistakes. If you can stick around and hang with them then you can worn them out down the stretch, that's what Redondo did. Problem for BM is they're not deep.
