: : : : Our teams would like to thank the men and women who referee high schools games. There have been good referees at all our games this season, except one game in another area where the referee did not have appropriate behavior to the players. That was reported right away. Anyway, again thanks for what you do and remember for all of us players, coaches, referees, clock operators and fans, how we respect people is way more important than any scoreboard. No replies needed.

: : : Agree! I am consistently on the refs and I've tried to improve. It's never personal for me, but I know they need to be respected and it they have a tough task. Thanks to all involved in this great game, refs especially, they take nothing but abuse.

: : Man...f*ck these refs!

: Schools or Parents really just need to "raise" more money and have tournament semis and finals and league matchups have 3 Referees. I know some have 3 already. This can eliminate alot of the "out of position" / "sorry I didn't see it" type of calls that Coaches and Fan always are screaming about.

Respect is earned, some of these refs make plenty of good refs look bad. Yah you know who you are. Making calls when you are out of angle, making calls from the other end of the floor since you are too lazy to get in shape and can't stay in phase with the game, steal calling from your fellow refs when it's not your call. So on and so forth. The worse are those that always get picked to ref "certain schools" and tilt their calls to that home school. No respect to the game, shame. Parents aren't always wrong.
