: : : : : : Reaches 2000 points. Great job by a socal great.

: : : : Greatest ever coming out of Socal. A MD product.

: : : She played at MD but she was a product of her own hard work. MD does not develop talent they just recruit it. One of The Many greats from SoCal.

: :
: : She's the next Breanna Stewart, way to represent SoCal. Coach K. Did a great job on this young lady.

: Reading these replies and both extreme views are off.

: First of all, UCONN is not as dominant because their overall level of talent is not as good as the last few years (though still really, really good) and the other top teams are doing a better job of recruiting so the talent gap is narrowing. Plus, UCONN doesn't really have a dominant big. Collier is forced to play center, but is really a PF. None of this is on KLS. She plays really well basically every game. You can't beat eltie teams with just one or two players.

: Second, she is not the greatest to ever come out of So Cal. This has come up before. If you want to say this decade? Sure. This century? Maybe.

: But let's not forget about Cheryl Miller, Lisa Leslie, Tina Thompson, Diana Taurasi, etc.

Anyone who says KLS was developed/product of Mater Dei is an absolute liar. To even suggest that is ludicrous. KLS like most great players that come in to MD are ready made and are trained by outside trainer/coaches. MD needed KLS more than KLS needed MD.
