: : : : The Pacific League seems to stay competitive with the top 4 or 5 teams...does anyone have any idea how this league should shape up for this upcoming season?

: : : 1. Burroughs (12-2).......Team still has the best bigs and top coach in the league. Will be tough to beat
: : : 2. CV (11-3)..........Always a tough battle with Burroughs. Should be again. They have the best depth in the league and are well coached and top G-F in Bouchard.
: : : 3. Arcadia(10-4).......This is the best Arcadia team yet. They always under achieve in league but this may be the year to break over the hump. Wouldn't shock me if they won league either. They have the best guard in the league
: : : 4. Pasadena(8-6)........They got rid of a great coach and lost a few players. Still have a ton of talent and can contend for the title.
: : : 5. Glendale (6-8).......Another well coached team. Can beat one of the top 4 teams on a given night but loss of PG will be tough.
: : : 6. Burbank (4-10)......Not enough guard play to hang with the top 5. Might surprise someone but will struggle.
: : : 7. Hoover........(2-12)......Cant compete with the top 6
: : : 8. Muir.......(0-14)......Sad how this program dropped. Who knows if they can field a team. If they can they could beat Hoover.

: : That was well done. Pretty much right on the button.

: : Pretty spot on. Only argument would be top G/F I would have it 1A and 1B between CV’s Senoir Bouchard and JB Sophomore Boulanger. MVP will most likely come come down to which team wins league. Add Acadia’s Senior Guard to top player in league especially if they do well. Should be an exciting season.

The great thing about this league is that the league champion almost never goes undefeated and usually has at least two or three losses. Also, what is great about this league is that the fifth place team is capable of beating the top team on any given night. CV, Arcadia, and Burroughs should battle for the top spot. Arcadia, I think is the slight favorite on paper because that core group is all seniors now and they get their PG back. CV, however, won a share of the league last year without their top player all during league and second leading scorer for most of the second half. They are both back this year. Burrough has everyone back and they are just really big. You are right that you can't count out Pasadena or Glendale for a couple of upsets. Always a great league to watch.
