: : : I've had the pleasure of seeing these great teams play over the summer and fall. If you're a fan of the game, these teams dont disappoint:
: : : Etiwanda. Athleticism everywhere.
: : : MLK. Fun to watch like a well oiled machine
: : : Centennial. Fast paced and physical.
: : : Cajon. Not as good as the top teams, but still very athletic.

: : : Did I miss any?

: : I love Etiwanda. They have the perfect combination of guard play and posts. They're an open team. The best team in the Inland Empire. They looked strong in the WCP games.
: : Watching ML King play is fun. Combination of great coaching and good players. High D1 team, but not quite open-bound. Wins over Etiwanda and Keppel puts them as the 2nd best in the Inland Empire.
: : Centennial is very similar to last year. Not too impressed with how a few players have developed. With very few strong teams in the area, they are 3rd. They looked good at the WCP as well.

: : I know how these sites can get, so I'll end this by saying these are my opinions only.

: I saw Etiwanda play ML King 3 weeks ago and beat them by 17 points. Wasn’t even close. Etiwanda is Heads above King. Top team in the IE for sure. They play a mixture of up tempo and execution of their sets. Relentless on Defense.

Etiwanda as usual has the most and best talent by far.

However, their style of play can bite them. They only play one way, one speed. And if they get the wrong refs and get in foul trouble, they can run into problems against other top teams.

Definitely going to Open in February along with Windward, Sierra Canyon, Mater Dei, Bishop Montgomery, etc.
