: : : : : : : : : : : Ayala's JV coach got fired for allegations of bullying and unwanted touching. The head coach, who is the wife of the JV coach, was facing allegations of bullying herself and quit before the investigation could conclude. Now the rest of the staff has quit "in protest".

: : : : : : : : : : : I may not be a Stan fan, but this is a pretty bad look for Ayala. No wonder none of the disgruntled Chino Hills players ever headed there.

: : : : : : : : : : Dear poster STan Stewart is still the worst coach in Chino Hills he has earn that title fair and square. Dear poster Coach Stan and his assistant coach Butler are both well known for their bullying and retaliation against players, it's just a matter of time when the principal stops covering for the both of them and sends them packing. As far as the coach at Ayala She ran a great program and i'm sure she will be missed.

: : : : : : : : : If Stan is well known for bullying, then it's the fault of the players and their parents at Chino Hills for never standing up to him and taking it to the school board as the Ayala parents did. Considering how many CH parents despise him, you can't tell me one of them wouldn't have reported him in a heartbeat.

: : : : : : : : : Saying the Ayala coach "ran a great program" and "I'm sure she will be missed" is the biggest crock I've ever heard. You don't get either of those distinctions when you're physically and mentally abusing your players. Running a program that allows it on 2 levels puts you light years ahead of others as far a being a crap coach.

: : : : : : : : : Plenty of parents complained about Stan to the AD and principal about him and his bullying ways and poor coaching ability. Stan would be the 1st to tell you he is good buddies with the AD and principal, so he is t going anywhere. Kudos to the Ayala administration for addressing issues Chino Hills never would. By the way I know at least 5 players who chose Ayala over Chino Hills because they refused to play for Stan.

: : : : : : : If the parents complained about Stan's coaching ability while complaining about his bullying, then they've given the Chino Hills admin an easy out to blow off their complaints. THey will just be chalked up as complaints about their kids minutes.

: : : : : : : From the articles I've read, it seems that Ayala's administration didn't address their issue appropriately, and it took going to the district to truly get something done.

: : : : : : : It doesn't seem like there's a good option for players who live in Chino Hills. Maybe they need to overrun Chino or Don Lugo instead of dealing with the BS at either of those schools.

: : : : : : : My daughter played for Stan last year. Check this out, look at those same kids playing for Stan look decent or bad but then out the with their club team with good coaching against better competition and they look way better! Just sell cupcakes and kiss his butt and your kid will get plenty of playing time they dont deserve.

: : : : : There is no doubt that Stan mismanages his talent and plays favorites to those who fundraise over the summer versus those who play club (unless you're a star player that is). I'm not saying the man is a great coach. I personally think he's a terrible coach. But I think that what the Ayala coach did makes her a terrible human being. Same goes for her husband. See the difference?

: : : : Dear poster because Stan does not physically abuse his players, that does not let him or his assistant coach Butler off the hook for their mental abuse of the girls. Stan and Butler have been known to verbally abuse the girls that did not play summer league and fall basketball for Chino Hills . Stan is not interested in the girls getting better training by playing club ball in the summer or the girls that want to work on their grades to for go fall basketball. The girls that don't follow these unwritten rules will definitely suffer when it comes to pt and end of the year awards.Stan is also a big liar, telling the parents of the two Sr girls that were on the team that he would write letters and make phone calls to college coaches to get them basketball rides.Coach Stan got them rides alright to Citrus and Mt SAC , what a joke. Dear poster you seem like a nice person but it is well over due that Coach Stan either steps down or is fired.

: : : To the first poster above...

: : : If...and I only have to say if because there hasn't been an investigation...Stan is verbally abusing players, then I fault the administration for not doing anything, and I fault every parent who is aware of how he is for letting their kid play for him. No coach is bulletproof, especially one who isn't a high level coach. You just have to make enough noise to the right people, and keep pushing until you find the right person if you're not getting the answers you want. A mass exodus would get some attention. I'm really surprised the parents haven't ran him off years ago.

: : : To the second poster...lemme break things down:

: : : 1) Stan does not have to be concerned with a player's grades. No coach does. If a player's grades are so bad that they need to work on them instead of being at team workouts, they probably shouldn't be on the team. Plus, a player with bad grades at the start of the school year is already ineligible. No coach will be bothered.

: : : 2) As far as colleges go, Stan can make all of the calls he wants, but the players have to perform and be interesting to coaches. All Stan can do is try to get coaches interested, but he can't order them to give a ride to a player who doesn't fit their scheme. If your child didn't play for a top club on the top team, didn't have outstanding stats, and doesn't have the immeasurables coaches look for, scholarships are hard to get. And even if they do have everything I mentioned, they can still be hard to get.

: : : 3) Team awards? They're meaningless. Being named All-Conference, All-Area, All-CIF, or All-State means more than being named team MVP. However, in the long run, none of that matters. No one remembers those awards, save for the parents.

: : : Good stuff but let me break it down further..

: : 1 Stan doesnt have to be concerned with grades but he needs to stop lying stating grades and school work will always come first and he supports it for his players, just quit lying and be truthful because its not the case with him.

: : 2 Correct again but once again Stan needs to quit lying about his college connections and promising these young ladies schollys, period!

: : 3. Yup all of those team awards for kissing his butt are almost as meaningless as Stan himself..

: DEAR poster the problem is Stan should stop telling parents that he is the best coach in the IE and that he is well connected to college coaches and that he will get their child a college scholarship. The truth to the matter is Stan is not connected to any college coaches and he couldn't get their child a look at the local YMCA. TO the Parents that have girls playing for Stan demand him to get your girls in better tournaments and start making him accountable for his lack of game time preparation.

First poster...

1) It's kind of a game on that. Stan cares about grades in that he needs his players to be eligible, but doesn't need to care beyond that. The parent should care the most anyways.

2) Plenty of club coaches lie about the same thing. I wouldn't expect anything to change there, nor would I ever believe it.

Second poster...

Seriously...why would he stop doing any of that? You think any coach is going to admit that someone else is a better coach than them or that they can't help your child get to college? No chance.

Stan isn't going to change. Considering the new changes to transfer rules, if you're that irate with the whole situation, transfer ASAP.
