: : : : Well I was on my way to the wrong Burroughs, past Palmdale but realized as I was on the 5 North that my GPS was going to the wrong school. I got there a little late for the 8am game. I did not get a chance to see where the other gym was as I was only in the main gym.

: : : : Also, I tried to get personal points from the table but they do not keep them and they don't keep track of names. I at least wanted to post leading scorers.

: : : : 8am- Sierra Canyon vs Camarillo. This was a very entertaining game. Sierra Canyon is very good and super quick. They have athletes and are led by their guards. Camarillo has good guard play. I forgot to write down the final score but Sierra Canyon won by about 8. I may be a little off but I think it was 57-49.

: : : : 9am- I was very impressed with Arleta. They had no trouble with Alhambra. I have never heard of this school but they have good size. This is a sleeper team to keep your eye on. Arleta 48 Alhambra 15

: : : : 10am- Camarillo vs Brentwood. Based on what I saw earlier Camarillo was out of gas. Brentwood won by double digits. Brentwood is also very quick and shot the lights out this game. Brentwood 57 Camarillo 39

: : : : 11am- This was a shocker. Van Nuys beat Brentwood 41 40. Van Nuys impressed me. Brentwood looked out of gas. Im not sure why teams play two games in a row. They definitely didn't shoot like they did vs Camarillo.

: : : : 12pm- Good solid teams. Marlborough 34 Burroughs 29. This was a defensive battle. Lots of half court play. Burroughs has size and the Marlborough the guards. I enjoyed this one.

: : : And that is why fall league doesn't matter and you are wasting your time. Why do teams play two games in a row? Because it is a great way to see what you have. Play a challenging game and then a game where you have to play everyone. Maybe Ms. Hartledge you should find something else to do with your time if you don't know anything about basketball just like 99% of the parents and fans on this site. You all have no clue about basketball and it shows. Oh and I hope the water was cold at Burroughs.

: : Betsy it is very sweet of you to attend games. However fall league isnít that important, thatís why individual stats arenít kept. Also many of the teams are not playing full squads regular season rotations. For example Brentwood sat there best players the whole second games. That gave opportunities for the freshman and bench players to get experience. Burroughs did play with their best player however they were missing the starting guard, her sub and starting forward. I Sierra Canyon were giving players that will most likely play garbage minutes lots of playing time. These are just few examples of why fall league is not that critical for most teams.

: True except most aren't playing all their players, they seem to be giving most minutes to their starters. Even Sierra Canyon, when I saw them a couple of weeks ago, did not play 3 or 4 of their players AT ALL, not 1 second.

Sierra Canyon didn't even have all of their starters. Can't play them if they aren't there.
