: : : : : : Not much to argue with at this point.

: : : : : : Granada is the team to beat, but I don't think it's a slam dunk.

: : : : : : Might swap Westchester/Fax and Birmingham/Eagle Rock.

: : : : : : Tough time with Pali at 10 right now - they have Nwaba, but are not strong at guard. And more importantly - they have no coach and school starts in two weeks.

: : : : : : Really need to see who actually ends up where with transfers and frosh.

: : : : : : So what is the scoop on ECR? You think they can take 2nd place again??? Is everyone else hurting that much?

: : : : Pali has a new coach. Don't sleep on them!

: : : Who the new coach at palisades

: : : Narbonne should be in the City Championship Game. They are the Preseason Favorites. El Co must have a boat load of transfers if they are in the top five.

: Who is the new Pali coach?

1. Pali doesn't have a new coach yet. They are still interviewing. And even when one is hired, they only have one really good player (Nwaba).

2. City Section teams, along with most teams in general in So Cal, are down this year. There are still good players, but the depth just isn't there on the team or player level. You can go far in playoffs with one stud and a couple solid supporting players.

3. Narbonne COULD be in the championship game. I don't think they have enough firepower, but their speed and physicality can cause everyone a bunch of problems and get them to CSDH.

4. ECR lost a lot, but also gets a transfer from Chaminade. She is the most talented player in the section (I'm not saying best - yet - but most talented). Along with a couple solid returners, they are legit pre-season Top 3-4.

5. Favorite is still Granada Hills. Berfield is one of best shooters around, but GH replacing Mitchell and Miranda is a tall order based on how they play. To me, the key is how much Aiden's offensive game has developed (played EYBL) to help free up Berfield.
