: : : : : : : : Rumor is that Don Lugo coach is headed to Chino Hills next season.

: : : : : : : Really? I the only reason I see Chino Hill making a move like that would be because he is also a travel ball coach. But I don't see it being a step up from what they aready have. Here are 3 coaches they should go after if they are going to make a move at all.
: : : : : : : Chris Emami- Lead Ontario to the state play-offs. CH would have to at least interest him
: : : : : : : Johnny Davis @ Chino is a good coach won a couple of league titles. Came from Centiennal.
: : : : : : : Mike James @ Just finished a solid play-off run at Claremont but could get better players at Chills.

: : : : : : I hope they mean the Don Lugo assistant coach, since he's the one who has a club team. The head coach has never won league, has a sub-.500 winning record, and a 1-4 record in the playoffs.

: : : : : : Emami isn't a great pick either. He has sculpted seasons at Ontario by loading up on wins against bad teams in the preseason. It also helped that he managed to get a transfer from Bloomington Christian that played while they were hot. Nothing he did ever prepared his teams to beat the best teams in their league at their best. It took graduations and a transfer at Alta Loma and turmoil at Colony (3rd coach in 4 years) before he could take league. That kind of luck will never happen with Etiwanda and Los Osos in your league.

: : : : : : Chino Hills deserves a legit coach if they're ever going to get talent from the area to go there and to have a legit chance against Etiwanda and Los Osos in league.

: : : : : Chino Hills has rode the same horse for the past seven years and the same old results. It's time to put someone else in charge of the program.

: : : : Hey let the young coach from Don Lugo have a go at the Chino Hills job. The job coach Stan has done has been totally unacceptable, lack of game planning and no direction with the program. As long as Stan is the coach you will not get any top level players to come to Chino Hills to play.

: : : Ontario coach supposedly resigned this week to go elsewhere.

: : If that's true, Emami got out before the bottom falls out. His best player graduated and Ontario isn't known for being a landing spot for talent.

: : And I can see where the Chino Hills principal may have issues over letting Stan go. Whatever else he is, he's only had 1 sub .500 team in all of the years he's been there, and he's 2 years removed from making the CIF semifinals. Without a serious issue, it's hard to justify running off the winningest coach in school history.

: The principal could care less if the girls lost every game, girls basketball is not one of her priorities. If you want a coach that is not prepared and is not able to make adjustments during a game then Stan is the coach for you. In regards to Stan being two years removed from making the CIF semifinals you would know that lack of coaching cost Chino Hills the game. I have been to Stan's practices and between him and his assistant coach Stephanie barking out totally opposite instructions to the girls I see why the girls are confused. If you been around this program or lack of program you would know it's time for a change. Hey there is a serious problem when girls like Farah CAStillo, Faith Castillo, Tianna Eaton, Nanay Timmons, Taylor Shelby and Terra Deknikker would not play for Coach STan .If CHino Hills wants to stay mediocre in girls basketball then Stan is definitely your man to run the program if not lets give someone else a shot.

You just made previous poster's point. If your statement that the principal doesn't care about girls basketball is accurate, then if there are no "issues", no change will ever be made until the coach decides to leave.

Bigger question is if you have such a problem with your coach, why don't you move your daughter to another school?

I don't know the school or the coach, but you seem to be on here every other week complaining. If it is that important, and it appears obvious the principal isn't going to make a change, then just go to another school and your stress level will go down a lot.
