: : : : Just a suggestion but what a big one: Close, Kami Ethridge and Aaron Johnston are considered candidates.

: : : :: Backlash

: : Close didn't impose any discipline and that's why Canada played so out of control, even during her senior year. She's arguably the best point in the nation but she had no one to show her the ropes as to how to lead an organized offense. Even less talented points could play a smarter game than Canada within a system framework.

: : Now they're saying Close said no. If she goes, UCLA should look at Mark Campbell, associate head coach at Oregon and previous associate head coach at Oregon State. Teaches the dribble drive offense which would have been ideal for UCLA and Canada.

: :: JC fantastic PG -Jordin needed more of cast of supporting players (guards) to compliment her. Billings is a great post down low, but UCLA historically has had no outside shooters - to pass the ball to! Just recently got Dean, but too little - too late. Their half court offense was not good - and didn't play to Jordin's strengths in the first place?

They had Cali 3 point champ Kari Korver (related to you know who), Nicole Kornet who was also a 3 point shooter. When Paulina Hersler transferred to Florida, she became an outside shooter.

That's enough shooters, IMO but UCLA didn't know how to use them or hide them in the offense so they could get their shots off.
