: : : : : Definitely poor coaching!
: : : : Etiwanda parents calling out poor coaching?
: : : Actually just a spectator calling it how I seen it. Not here to bash anyone's child, that is petty. It is sad to see adults get on this forum and be so negative. Both teams had good players. This could have been anyone's game when matching talent for talent. So kudos to both teams.
: : Thanks for the input . I've seen Etiwanda a few times . Discipline is not their strong suit. I put that on the coach. Not much respect. No talking trash . My source is,extremely good.
: I've seen Etiwanda play a few times. Their players are out of control on the court and off. They show poor sportsmanship. The Coach does the same always criticizing the officials. They got blown out of this game because they have no offensive plays just low level travel ball strategy drive the ball to the basket and harass the other team with aggressive play, fouls and a bump and trap press. Good teams go thru this easily and defend it easily. The Etiwanda Players use to know Offensive fundamentals. Now with this Coach they just play Street ball.
I was at the game, didnít seem like poor coaching so much as Windwardís best player (donít like to use names on this forum) literally went off. She hit 5 threes, three of them from ridiculously deep and had some great drives and dishes. Etiwanda is a deeper team, but Windward had the best player on the court by a mile, and no Etiwanda player could cover her. When they threw extra bodies at her, she always found the open girl. No amount of coaching could have shut her down last night.
