: : : Look, the guy can coach! whether they take Redondo, he knows what he's doing....His JV Centennial team annihilated my team a few years ago, and we had a strong defense, yeah they were really that good. That JV could have taken out most Varsity teams around the area, No Problem.

: : LOL!! That not saying much. The Inland Empire sucks for girls basketball. Yeah you what 5 or 6 really good teams but the rest of the schools are so horrible they shouldn't even have varsity basketball teams.

: : The Inland Empire just like the San Gabriel Valley area is just horrible. Glendora is the only team recently from the SGV to do anything noteworthy. I mean come on, you can count on one hand the teams from the Inland Empire and the San Gabriel Valley that have done anything remotely well in basketball consistently over the last decade. Glendora is just like Diamond Ranch or Walnut the hourglass is about to run out of sand and then Glendora will fade back into the background and then we will have the next SGV flavor of the month for a year or two. That's how it goes.

: : Then the SGV fans will come on here and try to tell everyone how great basketball is out in the SGV because of these average teams like Los Altos or Glendora keeps scheduling and blowing out the other cupcakes in their area.

: : None of these teams in the SGV or the IE with the exception of those handful of consistently elite teams schedule or play anybody worth noting in the regular season. Who did Los Altos play? Glendora? Who were their most noteworthy opponent in the regular season? What about Ayala? Claremont? Let's look at the IE, who did Arroyo Valley play or beat? Who did Valley View beat?

: : Here is the stat of the day for everyone from the IE and SGV. Glendora, Garey and Ontario are the only three teams from the IE and SGV to make to the semifinals in all of the divisions. All of those schools and only 3!!; made it to the semifinals. Just amazing! Garey shouldn't count because their enrollment is around 1,800. A school that size shouldn't be in Division 5A competing against schools with enrollment under 300.

: : But its okay the SGV and the IE is the real reason we have competitive equality anyways so next year some of these 100s of schools in the IE and SGV might actually have a chance at winning a championship! Hooray!!

: It is very sad to see people who don't know what they are talking about come on here to bash IE and SGV basketball. The problem is that there is a huge gap between the elite teams and the average to bad teams. It's all over Southern California. There are more average to below average teams in the OC than anywhere else. Rowland went to the Semi Finals 2 years in a row. I don't know where POS got their information from but you need to do some real research before you start bashing. You can't compare everyone to the elite teams no matter where they are. If you look at the elite teams the areas they are from varies IE, OC, SFV, SGV (sgv doesn't have any elites right now). Why would we not let the people enjoy their seasons and just say great season.

None had a great Season except Etiwanda. They are the big Dog and the rest are little puppies.
