: Now this is the kind of coach I want my daughter to play for! Sure, trophies are nice but they pale in comparison to positive memories with teammates, coaches and fans. All I want for my girl is to truly enjoy these years of her life and to enter adulthood with confidence, maturity, humility and pride. Congratulations to this team on a wildly successful season!
: : Congratulations to all the teams for a great season in which each team determines its own success. Yes there are different skills between Open and 5A divisions. And whatever trophy you won or don't win, the journey is the real thing. Friendships made on your own team and with opponents, improving your basketball skills, teamwork, loyalty, integrity, respect and sportsmanship. Yes you are all winners and you all matter to people in your group regardless if you win any trophy or don't win a trophy. Our team had a great season with few wins and is highly respected by many. We set our own goals and gauge our own success, no on else has all the knowledge about our team and challenges during the season to make a comment.
: : So thank you to team members, athletic directors, principals opponents, referees, fans, bus drivers, snack stand volunteers, and news media who still cover high school sports, for a wonderful season. We enjoyed a great one with all these things. We hope you did also! No need for anyone to reply and judge us or bash us. This is our party and it was a great one. Now after rest on to next season, Good luck and good sportsmanship to all big to small (Open to 5A)!
Let's all hold hands and sing kumbaya.
