: : : : : : : West (D1 Champs) and Redondo Union (D2AA Champs). Literally located < one mile from each other. Under represented in this forum. BMHS, of course, also located < one mile from both schools. Take the best from the three programs and they’d be unbeatable in the West US. Choose any one of the three coaches.
: : : : Oh please all play in weak divisions.
: : : Agree, South Bay is underrated with many talented players. Division 1 was loaded with competitive teams, can’t speak on division 2. Bishop Montgomery competed in open division and won 2 of 3 games against powerhouses. West beat LBP twice. Two of the girls on West are going to play college basketball. Two of the guards at Bishop Montgomery are high D1 recruits with offers from major conference schools. Maybe the South Bay will finally get the respect it deserves.
: : : Well looks like someone wants to represent their area / zip codes to say this is where the talent comes from. It actually comes from all over the place. This type of point that you’re trying to make is the point that others have made for their parts of town in the past. And the fact is that talent is spread through out Southern & Northern Cal. We do appreciate the time and effort you took to come in here and represent your part of town. Congrats to the Winners and the others who got to the Championship game.
: : So I’m guessing I’d be correct to say that last year all the talent came from the same league (Foothill League) because Valencia and Canyon High, which play in the same league played against each other in the CIF 1AA Championship, right? Some of you guys on here have some good jokes.
A couple of years ago maybe like 3years ago. South Torrance north Torrance west Torrance bishop Serra all won CIF champions and Redondo lost in the finals!!!!
