: : : What's going on with Alemany? they lost again?
: : New world at Alemany....no Camacho, no Storm pipeline.
: : Archer being hurt has really hurt them, moving other players out of position and hurting their effectiveness.
: : The good news for them is they are out of Open consideration now and can try to make a run in D1.
: : And it will be worse next year with no Archer, Hardy or Bambrick.
: : No impact frosh this year, don't see any going there next year either.
: : The SFV is all about Sierra Canyon and Harvard Westlake for the next couple of years.
: : The question is if Alemany's coach can continue to recruit like Camacho used to. If he can't, Alemany will drop off the grid quickly. As far as Harvard Westlake, they will lose a lot with the twins next year and they will be down also. Chaminade will probably move to the top of the league again next season...but who knows who will get who next season?
Chaminade loses 3 starters and really has no bench. They didn't get any impact frosh this year. Next year they have basically Whitfield and Hunter and no proven PG and no center. Whitfield is 6' but plays a wing and will continue to do so.
Harvard Westlake loses the Twins and Hirsch, but those two frosh are really good. You can argue the PG will be top one in league (Alemany guard is too much razzle, not enough dazzle). The center is already HW leading scorer. And at 6-2" and growing, no one will stop her.
Alemany will basically just have PG Orozco and forward Villalobos. No impact frosh this year. Guard dribbles too much and isn't a great shooter. Villalobos is a rising star but will they use her correctly or force to play inside as the tallest player?
