: : : : : : : Anyone know if Crockerís playing yet?
: : : : : : : I think MD is playing Los Al next. Be interesting to see her play against her old team.
: : : : : : : Regardless, with or without her I imagine it will be a blow out.
: : : : : : : Los Al is coached pretty poorly and outside of Avinger the rest of the team is not good. Tiny guards and bad post play should equal a beating by MD.

: : : : : This senior group has never shown they could win outside of the OC. Sure you can beat up on teams that are not good but what have they done against playoff teams? This senior class and J. Adams blew a Big lead in the state finals last year. They will struggle again this year because of that group. Better let Crocker and them young players run the show or its a wrap.

: : : : : :
: : : : : : She won't make her debut until January because of the SOP... Let's be honest, MD is going to smash on anyone who is in the OC. What will be interesting is to see what they do outside of this little Orange County Basketball Bubble! Best of Luck MD!

: : : : Tobert, Freeman and Johnson are definitely starting. And possibly Rahon. So there's 1 or 2 spots available for Crocker and the freshmen. That's part of the sacrifice to be part of an Elite Team. There's no shame coming off the bench with a lineup MD has. Keep your head up and think positive.

: : : : Too funny, only Tolbert is starting for sure, the others arenít nearly as talented as what Mater Dei has added to the team.

: : : With the exception of Pepe, the rest of "new kids on the block" are soft. Why would you start those softies over hard-nose on your face like Johnson, Rahon and Freeman. No freekin way.
: Easy, Johnson, Freeman and Rahon were only starters because the Mater Dei roster has been weak. Thatís no longer the case. Being hard nosed like Johnson and Freeman arenít enough. Iíll take the freshmen all day long as they actually have a skill set.

I saw the other day MD started three frosh, with only Torbert and Freeman starting of the seniors. And that probably won't change when Crocker becomes eligible. She will probably start for the third frosh (not Pepe or Demitre).

Freeman will always start for the reasons outlined above (nothing to do with hoops).

What this really does is raise expectations for MD when you have two D1 players not starting.
