: : : : : Mater Dei
: : : : : Lynwood

: : : : Take ribet and chaminade out Put HW
: : : WTF? King? LMAO!! Really...King?? You must either be an Inland Empire fan or God forbid a King parent to think that King belongs in the Open Division smacks of pure stupidity. No team from the Big VIII belong in the Open Division. Centennial made it once but that was because they acquired the talent through recruiting. I saw the teams at Lynwood and a lot of other teams throughout my travels around Southern California and King is not an Open team and will be lucky to make it out of the first round in the Division 1 playoffs. King is scrappy but they don't have the coaching or the talent to compete with the top teams. Sorry to burst your bubble. As for the other teams on this list it is a decent list. It will be interesting to see what CIF does because there will be at least one "elite" team that will not make it into the Open Division. It could be a Mater Dei or maybe a Long Beach Poly. CIF is all about making money and if they can come up with a reason to drop one of the "elite" teams they will.
: : King competed against 2 of the top teams on that list. You must hate King or are too short to see talent. Coach is doing great with not a lot of talent, minus the pg.
: : Coach is doing great by getting blown out, lol
IMO. In no means do I write to start arguments. But: King lost to Alemany by 4 and they are ranked high on the open list. This is getting blown out? They seemed well coached; the girls knew what they were doing, and even though not much talent, they did well against a loaded Alemany team. This to me is good coaching. I saw 3 or 4 other teams during the day that were loaded and coaches weren't getting the most out of their talent. King, along with West and Redondo Union, seemed to be well coached and doing the most with what they have. Just my observation.
