: : : : : : : : :Serra over Mater Dei by 15, it wasn't close the whole game.
: : : : : : : ; Etiwanda over Ribet by 14, Ribet got exposed. RB parents were dumbfounded. Let's hear the excuses, lol
: : : : : : I donít think Ribets parents were dumbfounded, but the coaching was definitely exposed. Players looked out of shape, slow and lost. Hope the coach can get them ready by the end of the year.
: : : : : :Ribet lost both games? I thought they're really good? What happened?
: : : : Ribet is not an Elite Team.
: : : :They best be happy to be in 2A, as this tournament shows they're not an Elite them. They can't hang with the top dogs.
: : Ribet is good. They are a top 25 team in the Southern Section. They couldn't handle Etiwanda but not many teams can Etiwanda is a legitimate Open Division team. Ribet held their own thou. As for Ribet's second game they only had about 30 minutes between games because court 2 was about 40 minutes behind schedule. So Ribet was gassed by the middle of the first half. Ribet is nor the team in trouble. Mater Dei lost to Serra badly and then lost to Lynwood by 7 and looked unenthusiastic on the court. Even if Mater Dei had Crocker I doubt they would have won both games.
: Ribet has elite talent, but not elitely coached which is an understatement. He looks confused and in over his head.
:I won't necessary call them elite talent, the transfer big only go one direction and can't operate inside a zone defense. Etiwanda aren't that big, but they are hard-nosed right at your face type scrappy team. If you're an elite player you should find way to adjust to that. But they didn't, they were loss and confused. Their guards are weak, Etiwanda did most of their scoring thru them guards, not to mention them guards are short.
