: How many parents are pressuring them to hire better coaches? A dozen? How many parents are pressuring them to improve standardized test scores? Probably 75% and up. Has it done any good? In any event, basketball coaching is really insignificant in the grand scheme of a high school education. And when you're strapped for cash, why should a school dole out money that benefits maybe 20 to 40 kids when they can't even keep their supply cabinets stocked?
Well I can tell you LAUSD doesn't care about their coaches or teams they give pennies to the coaches and then practically nothing as a budget.
