She never recommitted to ASU, she verballed to ASU, then decommitted. She decommitted from USC when the coach who recruited her was fired and the incoming coach was forbidden to speak to her.
It was smart for any player to reopen their recruiting in that situation. If she was indeed pressured into making the ASU commit, then shame on those involved. The USC decision sounds like the only one she really wants.

Wish her well and move on.
