: : See ESPN HOOPGURLZ.
: There are a couple of things that bother me with this situation...
: 1)Why go on an unofficial visit after you have already committed?

: 2) ASU probabaly called several recruits and withdrew their offer once Cassie committed. Now players that really wanted to go to ASU did not get the opportunity.

: 3) As a new coach (Cooper), he is already going to have issues by going after a player already committed to another school, Thorne is a highly respected coach with class!

: I fully understand it was only a verbal, nothing in writing, but your WORD needs to be worth something, two commitments and two decommits in a few months, maybe ASU is better off.

She committed to ASU because of what she felt was pressure from her father and club coach Davis. She always wanted to go to USC and finally and correctly made the choice that was right for her.

Better for her to realize her mistake now than midway through the first season.

The glut of transfers last season suggests that something is badly wrong with the system of recruiting and girls are just making bad choices with little support from their families.

Quite a lot of hate for girls who haven't even graduated from high school.
